Safety & Security — The Raven Warehouse

The safety of our guests, staff, and venue is our top priority. All event hosts and attendees must comply with the following safety and security protocols when using The Raven Warehouse. Failure to follow these may result in the immediate termination of the event without refund.

1. General Safety

• The event host is responsible for the overall safety and conduct of all guests, vendors, and staff during the hire period.
• Emergency exits must remain clear at all times.
• Fire extinguishers and other safety equipment must not be tampered with or moved unless in an emergency.

2. Emergency Procedures

• In the event of an emergency, all guests must follow directions from venue staff or security.
• The host should familiarise themselves with emergency exits and procedures prior to the event.
• Any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions must be reported to management immediately.

3. Prohibited Items

The following are strictly prohibited within the venue without prior written approval:
• Weapons of any kind
• Open flames or fireworks
• Smoke machines, dry ice, or foggers (unless pre-approved)
• Flammable decorations or untagged electrical equipment
• Illegal substances

4. Crowd Control & Security

• For certain events (especially those involving alcohol or large crowds), security personnel may be required as a condition of hire.
• Security personnel may be arranged by The Raven Warehouse or provided by the client, subject to venue approval.
• Security are present to monitor behavior and assist in emergencies, but hosts remain responsible for preventing illegal activity or misconduct.

5. Behaviour Expectations

• All guests are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
• Any violence, harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior will result in removal from the premises.
• The Raven Warehouse reserves the right to end any event early if guest behavior poses a risk to safety or property.

6. Underage Guests

• If minors are in attendance, hosts must take extra care to supervise and ensure no access to alcohol or dangerous areas.

7. Venue Right to Intervene

• Management reserves the right to intervene or shut down an event if safety, health, or legal concerns arise.
• This includes, but is not limited to: overcrowding, illegal activity, unsafe installations, or failure to follow directions from staff or security.
